Hi, I'm
Alex
As a child I was always very curious and loved to explore. I became fascinated in science, especially nature and human behaviors.
I grew up in an unstable an and emotionally abusive family. I felt a failure, lonely and with no understanding of how to feel and regulate my own emotions.
As I grew into adulthood I had a strong desire to help others and this lead me into a nursing career. Initially I studied adult nursing at St.Bartholomews College of Nursing and then later at Southbank University where I gained my qualification as a psychiatric nurse.
I worked within the National Health Service (NHS) for many years, in acute mental health, dementia care. Thereafter most of my career I worked as a community nurse.
Throughout this time I was facing my own personal challenges. I was a single parent with a persistent feeling of failure. My health was poor, finances strained and my personal relationships were nearly always turbulent. All in all I was deeply anxious and unhappy.
Sadly I was not aware of what I have come to understand now. It took a lot research, a lot of failures and a lot of acquiring information from new resources before I started to truly heal.
Here is what I have come to understand;
Our emotions are not separate from us – WE ARE OUR EMOTIONS
Our primary environment shapes our belief system about the world ,our world and how we feel about ourselves.
Time is NOT a healer -it just creates physical distance to painful memories and feelings.
Our body is our best friend when it comes to healing .When we are willing to feel all its hurt we will come to understand that all our emotional experiences are trapped in our cells.
As we start to feel all our painful feelings we start our grieving process- it is here that we begin to heal ❤
Incorporating into my practices, I have also been able to support others through mediumship. I have a close bond with my own spirit guide, and with time (& courage), I have developed my skills as a channel medium. My guide Telius is a very loving & friendly guide that can offer deeper insights into our emotional experiences, and how to address our unresolved wounds.
I studied many therapeutic practices whilst I was nursing. They definitely have value in my world. However I wanted to create an approach that I felt reflected the power of deeper connection to our unhealed subconscious trauma. https://meet.google.com/ytk-ptdq-zdk
